Every year IBA honors the “best of the best” in the broadcast industry with the Association’s most prestigious awards—the Broadcaster of the Year and the Hall of Fame Awards.
Please help us by nominating someone you believe has made a difference and, therefore, worthy of this tribute.
Recipients will be awarded at the 2025 IBA Annual Convention on June 12th at Renaissance Des Moines Savery Hotel in Des Moines, Iowa.

2025 IBA STATION AWARDS
Submissions Deadline is Thursday, April 17, 2025
The Iowa Broadcasters Association is pleased to continue its Annual Station Awards contest!
This competition was established to encourage the highest standards of reporting, community service and production creativity. It brings the ultimate prize-peer recognition to members of the broadcast industry in Iowa.
All Station Awards will be presented at the 2025 Annual Convention on June 12th. Winners will be notified and must be present during the Awards Presentation.
Here's a couple of important points:
- In the registration process, please choose Iowa Broadcasters Association option not the Iowa Broadcast News Association on the registration form.
- Stations will be invoiced for payment.
- All stations will need to register on the Station Awards systems -- even if you registered last year -- due to new tv and radio divisions.
Station Award Instructions:
Please carefully follow the important instructions below to submit your entries:

All entries must be submitted online.
- Deadline for all submissions is Thursday, April 17, 2025.

Entries must be submitted to www.rockourawards.com.

Be sure to read the information on the home page concerning the entry process and appropriate file sizes and types.
- Users must create a profile (username and password) by clicking the “Register” button on the top of the homepage. The system is not able to have the same set of credential in multiple contests.
- To reset your password email info@rockourawards.com.

From the homepage you can review Awards rules, submit an entry, view and edit an entry, or edit your station’s information.

To enter a category, click “Submit Entry” and fill in the information. The headline/title should be what you would want shown on a plaque.

Acceptable file formats to upload to the site are .mp3, .jpg, .gif, .png, .bmp, .doc, docx, .wma, .pdf, .mp4, .wmv and .mov files.
- IMPORTANT: To ensure server space for all states, ®RockOurAwards.com requires video entries to be linked from YouTube, Vimeo, or other video hosting sites. Simply copy/paste the videos URL in the “Add Link” section.

Special characters should be avoided in file names. Stick with letters, numbers, &, dots, dashes and underscores, “NO # or apostrophes”.
