KNIA/KRLS Radio is searching for a forward-thinking individual with great skills in building relationships with area news contacts. We are the mouthpiece for the community leaders to get their news out to the local community. We have an opening in our award-winning News department and Sports Department. We take local news and information very seriously, with 4 full time news people. This position is the lead newsperson for Knoxville and surrounding communities. It will also include sports play by play for area high schools. Do you have a passion for news and a passion for radio this is your next career move. We are a small market company that is continually improving our product and have opportunities for you to move up with in our company. If you like sitting behind a desk this would not a good fit for you. You’ll be out in the community gathering news, writing news stories, and delivering newscasts over the air.
