Position IT Engineer
Jobdescription KTIV is seeking a highly motivated IT Engineer for its award-winning operation. As a key member of the engineering team, the IT engineer will provide and perform all information technology support for the station including IT policies and procedures, equipment maintenance for WAN/LAN/VPN, wireless access points, domain controllers and PC workstations.

KTIV, Siouxland's News Channel, is the ward winning, dominate NBC affiliate located in Sioux City, Iowa and serves viewers in NW Iowa, NE Nebraska, and SE South Dakota. KTIV News 4 is a breaking news and weather station covering local, original stories in the tri-state area.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: active directory management, desktop support for local and remote users, implement and maintain computer/network security policies and work with corporate engineering and 3rd party vendors to configure, install and maintain switches, routers, servers, ad other hardware and software. Must also provide capital budgetary support and advice for selection and replacement of equipment.

Degree in IT related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience required. Microsoft, Cisco, and other industry certifications are a plus. Experience with active directory administration, remote desktop applications, VPN, and office 365 required. Experience in broadcast engineering or a related field is preferred. Experience with Avid, iNews, Imagine Automation and Ross Overdrive is a plus. Must have the ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. Occasional climbing, kneeling and crawling may be required for cable installation. Must have a valid drivers license.
