| Position | Broadcast Engineer / IT Specialist |
| Jobdescription | Pritchard Broadcasting is seeking a Broadcast Engineer/IT Specialist to join our team. This hands-on role is vital to keeping our stations on the air, our facilities secure, and our technology running smoothly. What You’ll Do • Install, maintain, and repair radio broadcast and transmission equipment • Ensure compliance with FCC regulations, FAA guidelines, and cybersecurity policies • Troubleshoot technical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and support engineering projects • Manage transmission sites, satellite systems, and studio operations • Oversee towers, repeaters, transmitters, HVAC, UPS and generators • Supervise contractors, service providers, and act as liaison with State EAS officials • Train and provide technical guidance to staff on broadcast and IT systems • Collaborate with content, programming, and sales teams to integrate workflows • Stay current with evolving broadcast and IT technology What We’re Looking For • Broadcast/studio production environment experience • Strong knowledge of IP networking, Windows servers, and digital broadcast systems • Experience with satellite uplink/downlink systems • Understanding of cybersecurity, account/password security • Ability to manage compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety standards • Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record • Experience with AudioVault a plus Why Join Pritchard Broadcasting? • Play a critical role in keeping our stations on-air and our listeners connected • Competitive compensation and benefits • Opportunities to grow and expand your technical skills • Be part of a collaborative, passionate team that values innovation and reliability |
