The Radio Music Licensing Committee has reached a settlement with SESAC ending almost three years of antitrust litigation brought by RMLC against the Performance Rights Organization (PRO). The settlement represents the first time in SESAC’s 85-year history with radio broadcasters that the PRO’s licensing fees will be subject to determination by a third-party arbitration panel.
Members of the Iowa Broadcasters Association have been invited to join members of the Iowa Newspaper Association (INA) for a day of golf on August 14th at Otter Creek Golf Course in Ankeny.
