Paul Yeager

Producer/Director/Host at Iowa PBS

Paul Yeager is an Emmy-award winner, past president of the Iowa Broadcast News Association, play-by-play man, but most importantly a father and husband.

Paul joined the Iowa Public Television production team in October of 2007, as a producer of “The Iowa Journal.” He later would become host of the program. He comes to IPTV after several stops around Iowa including north, eastern and central Iowa.

Paul now works as a producer and host on the nationally distributed PBS program “Market to Market,” the weekly journal of rural America. This is a return to his rural roots of Buchanan County and the Shady Grove Super Stars. He can be heard each Tuesday with a new episode of the MtoM podcast, a look behind the scenes of the TV show and conversations with interesting voices of agriculture.

Since 2010, Paul has been covering high school sports in Central Iowa. This currently includes CISN.tv. The Central Iowa Sports Network streams games via their YouTube channel from venues including Ankeny, West Des Moines and Waukee. The CISN.tv crew also can be heard calling state tournament games and matches at IGHSAU state volleyball, basketball, soccer and softball.

Paul is a graduate of Wartburg College in Waverly where he remains active on campus as part of the Board of Regent’s Student Life Committee. He even has a YouTube channel. Yikes.
