| Jobdescription | KIMT-TV is seeking an Executive Producer to oversee our team of producers in our Rochester newsroom and work closely with reporters, news managers and the News Director to create engaging and compelling content for our daily newscasts and multimedia platforms. The qualified candidate will be organized and must possess the ability to excel by executing big-picture goals while focusing on the details with daily content coverage, with the mission of being the go-to-source for weather, breaking news and in-depth content. Applicants must have a four-year degree in Broadcast Journalism or Communications and 3 to 5 years of television broadcasting or production. The person we are seeking needs to multi-task in an intense, creative and ever-changing environment. The perfect candidate will be a strong communicator who is willing to take charge while remaining calm under pressure. They will be responsible for make immediate decisions on how stories and content are presented. Any offer of employment is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug test and a background screening. Successful candidate must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
